TGMS

TGMS is a monoblock construction containing a specially designed Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS) and profilometer based on two laser scanners. The track geometry parameters are measured according to the standard EN 13848.


Track geometry measurement system (TGMS) is intended for contactless measurement of traditional track geometric parameters such as longitudinal level, cross level, superelevation, twist, curvature, rail profile, etc. on high-speed trains (up to 350 kmph).

TGMS is a monoblock construction containing a specially designed strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) and profilometer based on laser scanners. The track geometry parameters are measured according to the standard EN 13848.

TGMS provides a high accuracy positioning through geographic (latitude and longitude) and track coordinates.

TGMS features adjustable for customer requirements software and hardware interfaces.

Designed for railway applications and based on Fiber-Optic Gyros (FOG) SINS provides a continuous determination and output of position coordinates, motion parameters and attitude angles.
